Community groups

Privacy notice

Collectives LLC operates these neighbourhood groups. This notice covers the community groups on this website and on their Discord servers. It is narrower than the notices for the automotive Collectives and the SOS app.

Effective 5 November 2026. Questions and personal-data requests: support@collectiveshub.com.

Less than the wider Collectives service

A community group does not ask for your phone number, an identity document, a tenancy contract, an Ejari, or an apartment or villa number. It does not use the SOS app, so it does not collect an alert location.

The automotive Collectives and the SOS app have their own notices. Those services can involve more information.

What this website collects

The site is a set of pages. It has no account and no analytics cookies of our own. The community map loads map tiles from Esri. Esri may log that request under its own policy. A Discord invite sends you to Discord.

The contact page does not store your message on this website. It opens an email to support@collectiveshub.com in your mail app. If you send that email, we receive it.

What joining a community group asks for

Joining happens in Discord, through Collectives BOT. Discord’s privacy policy applies to your Discord account, including your user ID and how you use Discord.

The bot asks for:

Those answers become Discord roles and your server nickname: flag, display name, and a short label for how you take part. They are not copied into a separate Collectives membership database. The bot holds the answers in memory only until joining finishes, then discards them.

Other members can see your display name, flag, and the roles on your profile, including a building role if you chose one. They do not see your phone number, because we never ask for it.

What we do not collect to join

Choosing a building is a declaration. It is not a background check, and it is not proof of residence to anyone else.

Messages, translation, and moderation

What you post is stored by Discord as part of that server. Moderators can see the rooms their role allows. Where translation is turned on for a room, the text of messages in that room may be processed so neighbours can read another language. Translation is not on for every room.

How long it stays

Roles and your server nickname stay while you are a member. Leaving the server removes those roles from you there. Messages remain under Discord’s retention unless a moderator removes them. Email you send us is kept long enough to answer and to handle a privacy request. The website does not keep a copy of the contact form.

Who processes it

Collectives LLC runs the community bots and this website. Discord hosts the servers and your account. Esri serves the map tiles. A translation provider may process text in rooms where translation is enabled. We do not sell community-group information.

Access, correction, and deletion

Email support@collectiveshub.com. Ask us to correct a nickname or a role, or tell us you have left a server. Deleting a Discord account is Discord’s own process. Do not send identity documents or tenancy contracts with the request.
